Born and raised in southern Ontario, Kathleen Foxx has been writing novels since she was in her mid-teens. She developed a passion for writing at a young age, inspired by a wildly creative imagination. Having finally found the courage, time and determination, she is now preparing to publish her first of many novels.
Before stepping into a career as an author, she worked in administration and hotel management. She has travelled extensively throughout North America and Brazil, and spent fifteen years living in western and northwestern Canada. Her heart belongs in Ontario, though, where she once again resides.
When Kathleen is not writing stories, she enjoys photography, cooking, summertime outdoor activities, and travelling. You can often find her in Ontario’s spectacular cottage country, behind the lens of her camera, boating, or reading. She is the proud mother of five kids + one cat and loves to inspire creativity in her children. Coffee and wine start and finish her days. She’s also a die-hard fan of Outlander, The Last Kingdom, and A Discovery of Witches, and enjoys many psychological thrillers, historical dramas, fantasies, and action/adventures; basically anything in those genres that make her cry, cringe, or yell at the characters.
If you like cats and want to see an occasional picture of her long-haired ginger rescue kitty, Norman, you can follow him on IG here. He was adopted at around three months old from Paws in Creston, BC.
