Kathleen Foxx is an emerging multi-genre author from Southern Ontario, Canada. She writes primarily in the thriller/suspense genre, but also dabbles in the action/adventure and gothic horror genres. In addition to novels, she enjoys flash fiction and nonfiction and has words published on Paragraph Planet, Eucalyptus and Rose Literary Magazine, and Glittery Literary, where her second-place winning micro fiction story is published in their Anthology One, available in paperback and e-book format. She tweets often @kfoxx_writes.

When Kathleen is not writing stories, she enjoys photography, cooking, summertime outdoor activities, and travelling. You can often find her in Ontario’s spectacular cottage country, behind the lens of her camera, boating, or reading. She is the proud mother of five kids + one cat and loves to inspire creativity in her children. She’s travelled extensively throughout North America and Brazil, is learning Portuguese, adores the research stage of writing, and has a professional background in management/administration. Coffee and wine start and finish her days. She’s also a huge fan of actors Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan and Sally Field, and the books and tv series of Outlander, The Last Kingdom, and A Discovery of Witches. Kathleen enjoys many psychological thrillers, historical dramas, romcoms, fantasies, and action/adventures; anything in those genres that makes her cry, cringe, or yell at the characters (out loud, of course).

Kathleen is a member of Sisters in Crime, Crime Writers Canada, and International Thriller Writers.

If you enjoy reading any of her pieces here, please consider supporting her on Ko-Fi. Every little bit helps, and your generosity will help enable her to continue doing what she loves, especially during pandemic job loss. Thank you so much!

If you like cats and want to see an occasional picture of her long-haired ginger rescue kitty, Norman, you can follow him on IG here. He was adopted at around three months old from Paws in Creston, BC.
